Gua Sha Therapy

Gua Sha Therapy

Gua Sha Therapy is an indigenous technique that stimulates the skin to bring white and red blood cells to the surface. This is achieved by gently scraping the skin with specifically selected tools made of jade or buffalo horns on areas of tension or discomfort. Cellular waste products get eliminated, the body’s anti-inflammatory response is stimulated, and the body’s immune system gets strengthened. Gua Sha Therapy is used primarily for musculoskeletal pains, but also treats headaches, migraines as well as acute diseases such as fever, flu, earaches, asthma and bronchitis in children and adults.
